If you go down to Bomikhal in Bhubaneswar, you can find us at Plot No-603. That’s where Gurumaharaj Engicon Private Limited is based. We’ve been working out of this office in Khordha for quite a while. The work we do is mostly about engineering and construction. It sounds more complicated than it is, but it really just involves a lot of planning and making sure things are built properly. We aren't big on fancy titles or polished offices. Our place is full of rolls of paper, pens, and empty tea cups. It’s a working office, through and through. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on how things are going at the building sites. Bomikhal is a good spot because it’s easy for people to find us. We get people coming in with all sorts of ideas for what they want to build. We just sit down with them and talk it out in plain English. There’s no point in making things sound more important than they are. Sometimes the paperwork for these projects takes forever, and we have to spend hours at government offices. It’s a bit of a slog, but we get it done. We’re just a group of people who know how to build things and want to do a decent job for our neighbors. It feels good to see a project finally finish up after months of hard work. That is what keeps us going.
