Gratte Ciel Design And Build Private Limited is based out of Flat No-206 in Arohan Residency. We are located in Nandan Vihar, which is in the Kalarahanga part of Patia. It is a nice enough spot, though the parking can be a bit of a nightmare during the day. We focus on designing and building things, which means our office is usually full of half-finished sketches and samples of flooring or tiles. It’s not a very tidy place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time arguing over where a wall should go or what kind of window looks best. It’s a mix of creative stuff and the gritty reality of construction. Sometimes a design looks great on the computer but just doesn't work when you’re standing in the mud on a building site. We’ve learned to be flexible. We aren't a big, slick firm with a marketing budget. Most of the time it’s just us trying to make sure the builders actually follow the plans. We like being in Patia because things are always growing around here. It keeps us busy. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just like to build things that won't fall down and that look halfway decent. It is a lot of back and forth with clients and suppliers, but we just keep plugging away at it every day.
