Deliver Hope India Foundation

Deliver Hope India Foundation is tucked away in Turlakhaman, which is a part of the Kalahandi district. We operate out of Surendra Nanda’s place. It’s a very local effort here. Kalahandi is a place where people work hard, and we wanted to do something that brings a bit of support to the folks living out this way. We aren't a big city foundation with lots of funding. We are just local people who decided to start something small to help out. The roads in Turlakhaman can be a bit rough sometimes, but we manage to get around and talk to the families in the area. Our office isn't much to look at, just a room with some chairs and a desk where we plan our daily activities. We focus on whatever the immediate needs are in this part of India. Sometimes it’s providing supplies, other times it’s just giving advice. We don't have a polished way of speaking or a fancy website. Most people find out about us by word of mouth in the village. It’s a quiet life here but the work feels important to us. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us well. We just take things as they come and try to be useful to the people of Kalahandi without any big promises we can't keep.
