We set up the Dasari Vikash Rural Entrepreneurship And Innovation Foundation right here at Plot No. 1608/4634 near Barahaguda Canal Chowk. It’s a quiet spot but there is always a lot going on with the local projects we handle. Most of us here grew up in the rural areas nearby so we understand how things work on the ground. We don't have a big fancy office or a lot of staff in suits, just some local people trying to help other folks start small businesses or find better ways to do things on their farms. Innovation sounds like a big word but for us it just means finding a way that works better than the old way. We spend most of our days talking to people from the villages who stop by the canal chowk. The office is easy to find if you know the landmark. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets a bit dusty, but we stay busy with whatever needs doing that day. We really just want to see more people here getting their own ideas off the ground without having to move away to the big cities. It’s been a slow process building everything up from this spot but we are sticking with it. There is plenty of work to do in the rural blocks and we take it one day at a time.
