Community Based Global Ecosystem (Cbge) Foundation

This foundation is based out of Haripalapur, right near the Khantapada police station. We are in house number thirty-one. Soro is a small enough place where people mostly know each other by their first names. We called it the Community Based Global Ecosystem Foundation, which is quite a mouthful to say, so we just call it Cbge most of the time. We started this because we saw a lot of things that needed doing around our own streets. It's not like we have some huge budget or investors. We just use what we have and try not to waste anything. Most of the time we are just talking to neighbors or trying to figure out how to fix small problems in the village area. It gets very dusty in the summer months around here. We have a small back room where we keep all our supplies and old files. Khantapada is where we spend most of our working hours. It is honest work and we don't feel the need to dress it up. We don't have fancy brochures or a PR team to tell our story. It’s just us sitting around an old table making plans for the next month. Sometimes the plans work out and sometimes they don't. That’s just how it goes in life. We’ve been at this for a bit now. The "global" part of the name sounds big, but we really just focus on what’s right in front of us.
