Brickhill Constructions is based at Plot No. 2845 in Nageswar Tangi, which is part of the Old Town in Bhubaneswar. This is one of the older parts of the city, so it has a lot of character and narrow streets that can be a bit of a challenge for our trucks. We’ve been working out of this location in Khordha for quite some time now. Our office is just a plain room where we keep our blueprints and talk to people who stop by. We aren't interested in being a big, fancy corporation. We just like building things. Most of our work is local construction, and we’ve seen the city change so much over the years. The heat in Orissa can make the work very hard during the summer, so we usually start our days very early in the morning to beat the sun. We don't have a marketing budget or a team of people to write ads for us. We just rely on the fact that if we do a decent job, people will tell their friends. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We hire local guys who know how to work with the materials we have here. There’s always something to do, whether it’s a small repair or a bigger building project. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay busy. It’s an honest living in a place we know well.
