Our office is located at 31-SCR in Bapuji Nagar. If you know Bhubaneswar at all, you know that Bapuji Nagar is always crowded and moving at a hundred miles an hour. It is a great place for BKCK Infrastructure Private Limited to be because we are right in the middle of everything. We started this company because we wanted to be part of how the city is changing and growing. It is a lot of hard work, though. We spend our mornings looking at lists and our afternoons out at different sites in the Khordha district. The office is just a place to keep the files and have a quick cup of tea between meetings. It is definitely not a polished showroom. We have maps pinned to the wall and chairs that have been around for years. Dealing with infrastructure in a busy city means you have to coordinate with a lot of different people. It is rarely a smooth process, but we have learned how to handle the daily hiccups. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Odisha. We just want to do the jobs we have properly. Sometimes the weather gets so hot that we have to stop work for a few hours in the afternoon, but we make it up. It is just a few of us, working through the daily grind and making sure the concrete sets right.
