Artisan Bazaar Foundation

We set up shop here at Plot No-16 in Surya Viharpatia a while back. It’s a decent spot. Artisan Bazaar Foundation is basically just a group of us who like seeing things made by hand. We don't have a huge showroom or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just storage and a bit of workspace where we keep track of what local makers are doing. Some days the place is a bit of a mess with boxes everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you're dealing with physical goods. We spend our mornings checking in with people and seeing what they’ve been working on lately. It’s not a fast process. Working with your hands takes time, and we try to respect that. We moved into this Surya Viharpatia location because it was accessible for most of the people we work with. The neighborhood is okay, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you come at the wrong time. We aren't trying to be the biggest thing around. We just want to make sure the people who make things have a place to connect. It’s simple. We drink a lot of tea and talk about how to get things from point A to point B. Sometimes the internet goes out, and we just have to wait it out. It’s a local operation, run by people who live right around here. We just do our part day by day. It takes a lot of patience to run a foundation like this.
