100Vikalpajeevika Foundation

Our foundation operates out of Flat No. B 006 in the Madhukunj Enclave on Cuttack Road. Being in Bomikhal means we’re right in the middle of things, which is handy. 100Vikalpajeevika Foundation is a small setup. We don’t have a big fancy office building; it’s just a flat where we do our work. It’s a bit tight when we have more than three or four people inside, but we make it work. We spend most of our time looking into different ways for people to make a living. It’s a lot of research and talking to folks who are looking for new opportunities. We aren’t experts in everything, but we try to find the right information. The traffic on Cuttack Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap things up before the rush starts. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few dedicated people who care about what we’re doing. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run into roadblocks with the paperwork or finding the right contacts. But that’s just how it goes when you’re starting something small. We like the Bomikhal area because it feels like a real community. There’s always someone stopping by to say hello or ask what we’re up to. We just keep pluggin' away at it, one day at a time, trying to be a useful part of Khordha. It is slow work but we keep at it.
