Visa Steel Ltd -Jajur

Our office is set up in a house owned by P.N. Mahapatra over in the Nayapali area of Bhubaneswar. Specifically, we’re in MIG B26 in the Brit Colony. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s much quieter than being right in the center of the business district. Having an office in a house makes for a different kind of vibe; it’s a bit more relaxed, and we have a small garden area out front that someone tries to keep tidy. We focus on the Jajpur operations from here, even though we’re a bit of a drive away from the actual plant. It’s where a lot of the planning and coordination happens. We have a few rooms filled with desks and computers, and the kitchen has been turned into a place where we make endless rounds of tea. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to be too disruptive with our deliveries. Bhubaneswar is a nice place to be, and Nayapali is a good spot because it’s easy to get to the main roads. We don't have any big corporate signs, just a small one to let people know they’ve found the right house. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We spend our days making sure the steel business runs smoothly and that everyone at the plant has what they need to keep going. It's just a small group of us working away.
