Vedanta Resources

We are Vedanta Resources, and our office is located in the New AG Colony in Bhubaneswar. Specifically, we’re at Type-Iv-34 in Nayapally-12. Being in Bhubaneswar means we get a lot of that coastal humidity, so the office can feel a bit sticky during the summer months. The building is part of a larger colony, so it has that official, old-school feel to it. Inside, we’ve got several rooms that we’ve filled with our desks, computers, and stacks of folders. We deal with resource tasks all day long. It’s a lot of coordination and keeping things on track. We don’t have a big team, so everyone knows exactly what needs to be done. We don't have a corporate office look with glass and steel. It’s more like a lived-in space where work actually happens. The walls are a bit yellowed and the floor tiles are a little worn down from years of people walking back and forth. We have a small balcony where we go to get a bit of air, though it’s usually just as hot outside. The street in Nayapally is always busy with people going to and from the colony. We like the energy of the area. We don't have a big mission or a set of values printed on the wall. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure we get through the pile of work before the day ends. It is just practical work in a busy city.
