Vedanta Aluminium Limited is based at Plot No N/6-303 in the Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar. Our location is near the Po/Ps Nayapalli, and we have the Orissa pin code 751015. It’s a busy part of the city, which makes getting to work an adventure some days. The office itself is quite plain. We have the usual stuff like desks, old computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. It’s the kind of place where you can find a stray pen but never a working stapler when you need one. We handle the back-end stuff for the aluminium operations. There are no corporate slogans on the walls or polished reception areas. It’s just us, sitting in chairs that probably need replacing, doing the math and keeping the records straight. We’ve got a small balcony where some of us go to catch a bit of air when it gets too stuffy inside. The traffic in Nayapalli can be loud, but we’ve learned to tune it out over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the office looks. We just focus on getting the work done so the metal gets where it needs to go. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so it feels more like a small community than a big company. It’s just a regular office for regular people doing a regular job. We handle our business and then head home like everyone else.
