Our office is in DCB 108, which is inside the DLF Cyber City building at the Chandaka Industrial Estate. We are right in the Patia area of Bhubaneswar. It’s a very different vibe compared to the older parts of the city because there are so many tech companies and big buildings around. SJD-Emperean Properties is just a small group of us handling property matters in Khorda. We aren't a massive agency with billboards all over the place. We mostly spend our time looking at land records and talking to people about where they want to live or set up shop. The DLF building is quite nice, though the elevators can be a bit slow when everyone is coming in for work at nine. We’ve seen Patia grow from almost nothing into this huge hub over the last few years. It’s gotten much more crowded, and the traffic on the way to the office can be a real pain some mornings. We don't have a big marketing department. Usually, someone just hears about us from a friend and gives us a call. We try to be as clear as possible about how things work because property paperwork in Orissa can be very confusing. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in town, just one that people can actually talk to without feeling like they’re being sold something. Most of our day is just phone calls and meetings. It’s regular, steady work and we like it that way.
