Shree Omigos Buildcon

Working out of Bangalore, Shree Omigos Buildcon is currently involved with some residential apartment projects. Our address is tied to the construction sites where we are putting up the clubhouse and the housing units. It is a big undertaking, around 75 Cr, which keeps everyone on their toes. The site is usually a mess of cement mixers, iron rods, and people in hard hats. Bangalore’s weather helps a bit, but when the rains come, everything slows down and we have to deal with a lot of mud. We have our temporary office space right there so we can see what is happening. It is not a quiet job by any means. There is always the sound of drilling or trucks backing up. We spend a lot of time checking the levels and making sure the clubhouse is coming along like it should. Our staff stays on-site most of the day, and we usually just grab tea from the local stall nearby. We aren't the type to sit in a glass building in the city center; we’d rather be where the actual building is happening. There is a lot of paperwork involved with these big residential projects, which takes up my evenings. It is tough work and the deadlines are always tight, but we just take it one floor at a time. It’s a lot of coordination with different crews and making sure the supplies actually show up when they are supposed to.
