Saint Gobain Gyproc India Limited,( Formerly India Gypsum Ltd.)

Our office is located in Pokhariput, specifically in Lingaraj Vihar at B-2/35. It’s a quiet enough corner of Bhubaneswar, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on paperwork. We go by Saint Gobain Gyproc India Limited now, though a lot of the older guys around here still call us India Gypsum Ltd because that’s what was on the sign for years. We deal with all the gypsum supplies for this part of the country. The office is a bit small, and we’ve got posters of different ceiling designs on the walls that have started to curl at the edges. My desk is right by the door, so I see everyone coming in. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the warehouse, making sure the boards are being loaded properly. The tea boy comes by twice a day, and that’s when we usually take a break. It gets really hot in Odisha, so we mostly stay inside with the fan on full blast. There’s a bit of dust because of the gypsum products, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have any fancy meetings or anything, just regular talk about logistics and transport. Sometimes the printer jams when we're trying to do the invoices, which is annoying. But overall, it’s a steady place to work and we know the neighbors well. The water cooler in the corner makes a loud glugging sound every time someone takes a drink, which usually makes us all laugh if the office is too quiet.
