We’re based in Bhubaneswar, specifically in the Niladri Vihar area of Chandrasekharpur. Our door is G.A.-116. Even though we’re tied to the Duburi operations, this is where we handle a lot of the administrative and planning side of things. Bhubaneswar is a growing city, but our office stays pretty low-key. We have a few rooms filled with cabinets and old desks that have seen a lot of use. We aren't interested in being the most modern place in town. We just want to make sure the work we do for the projects is accurate. Most of the staff here has lived in Odisha for a long time, so we’re used to the humidity and the pace of life. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background, nothing too loud. We don’t have a lot of visitors, but when we do, we just offer them a seat and some water. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where we feel comfortable. There are always piles of paper and rolls of drawings that need looking at. We take our time to do things right because rushing usually leads to mistakes. We’re just a bunch of regular folks trying to keep the projects on track without making a big scene about it. We close up at the usual time and head back to our families, ready to do it again tomorrow morning.
