Our shop is right in the Patia area of Bhubaneswar, inside the Koel Complex. If you know where the KIIT Allahabad Bank is, you can find us just across the way at Plot 390/3069. This is a very busy part of the city because of the university and all the students walking around. We deal with dori, threads, and other small textile items that people need for sewing or crafts. The Koel Complex is always full of noise and people, so there is never a dull moment for us. Our actual shop space is quite small, but we manage to pack a lot of stock into it. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with different colors of cords and strings. It can get a bit tight inside when three or four customers come in at the same time, but we make it work. We spend a lot of our time counting out the inventory and making sure we have the specific colors people are looking for. Since we are so close to the university, we see a mix of local residents and students who are working on their own projects. We do not put on any airs here. It is just a regular shop where we try to be helpful to whoever walks in. The traffic in Patia is often a total nightmare, but being in the middle of it is good for business.
