We are located right on the ground floor of Fortune Towers in Chandrasekharpur. It is one of those big buildings that everyone in this part of Bhubaneshwar knows. Being on the ground floor at Plot No A 0/1 means we see a lot of people walking past our windows all day. The office stays pretty busy with people coming in to talk about train tickets or some tour they are planning for the holidays. It’s not always quiet in here; there is a lot of chatter and the sound of printers going. We have a few rows of chairs for people to wait in, and they’re usually full by mid-morning. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief because it gets really hot outside in the afternoon. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some maps and notices that have been there for years. The staff here is used to the rush, and we just try to get through the stack of requests one by one. Outside, the area is full of other offices and shops, so there’s always somewhere to grab a quick snack during the break. It’s a very functional space, meant for work and not for showing off. We deal with a lot of different people, from students to families, and it’s just part of the daily grind in Chandrasekharpur. It keeps us occupied from morning till evening.
