We’re based out of Room Number 18 on the second floor of Jyotsna Garden. It’s in Shastri Nagar, Unit-IV, which is a pretty central part of Bhubaneswar. To find us, you usually have to look for Santosh Das’s name since we are c/o him in this specific building. The building itself isn't huge, but it gets the job done for our needs. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is a huge relief because Bhubaneswar can get incredibly muggy during the summer and rains. The office is pretty simple. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some chairs for visitors who come by. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to see something impressive or modern; it’s just where the work happens. There’s a lot of movement in Shastri Nagar with people heading to the various government offices nearby all day. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s business fairly well. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep at the end of a long day when we're ready to head home. We don't have a big receptionist or a fancy lobby to wait in. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their ledger to see what you need. It’s a very local, unpretentious kind of office space. We stay busy enough with whatever work the department sends our way. It's just a regular spot.
