Golden Kids Play School

Our play school is located on the 3rd floor of Plot No: 210 in the District Center. Chandrasekharpur is a busy area, so being up on the 3rd floor gives us a little bit of distance from the street noise below. It is a bit of a walk up, but the parents get used to it quickly. Inside, the rooms are full of all the things you would expect for little kids—mats, blocks, and lots of paper for drawing. It is usually a bit of a mess by noon, but we tidy up before everyone goes home at the end of the day. We spend our time singing songs, telling stories, and making sure nobody gets too cranky before nap time. It is a small team of us here and we all pretty much do a bit of everything, from cleaning up spills to helping with shoes and coats. We don't have a big playground, so we use the indoor space as best as we can. It feels very local and tucked away from the main rush. Most of the kids live in the apartments nearby, so they are all neighbors anyway. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot where kids can be kids for a few hours. It is noisy and sometimes a bit tiring, but seeing them learn something makes the day go fast.
