Golden High School

You can find Golden High School over at 262 B in the Chandrasekharpur area. It is a little bit of a walk from the main road, but most of the local residents know the way by now. We are tucked away in the 751016 area of Bhubaneshwar. The school building has been standing for a good number of years and has seen a lot of history. It’s just a place for learning, nothing more and nothing less. We have different classrooms for the various grades, and each one is usually full. During the day, the halls are filled with the sound of students talking and teachers giving their lectures. Then, once the afternoon comes and the final bell rings, the whole place gets very quiet suddenly. We don't go in for anything too flashy or modern. The walls might need a fresh coat of paint here and there, but the building is solid and the benches are strong enough for the kids. We have a small open area where the students can run around a bit during their lunch hour. It’s not a massive campus like some of the newer schools, but it serves our purpose well. Most of our staff members have been working here for a long time. They know the names of the parents and which student belongs to which family. It feels like a small community inside the gates. People come here to get their education and then they go home.
