Essar Projects

Our office is tucked away in Old Town, specifically at Sai Nilay, Plot Number 225 in Kedar Gouri Vihar. It’s a residential-feeling area, and we’re located right with Dr. A.K. Mohanty’s place. Bhubaneswar has a lot of history, and working out of Old Town feels a bit like being part of that. We handle various Essar Projects tasks from here, mostly administrative stuff and coordinating with different sites. It’s not a large glass building; it’s more of a homey setup where we get our work done. The street outside can get a bit narrow, so parking is always a topic of conversation among the staff here. We spend a lot of time looking over documents and making sure everything for the projects is in order. It’s a quiet environment, which is good for focusing. Sometimes you can hear the bells from the nearby temples if the wind is right. We don’t have a lot of walk-ins since we’re mostly focused on the technical side of the projects. Our team is small and we’ve worked together for long enough that we don’t need much instruction. We just show up, drink our coffee, and get through the checklist. It’s a practical way to run things. The Orissa heat can be a bit much in May, but we’ve got some fans going and we just keep at it until the day is done. We like the quiet pace of this neighborhood, mostly.
