Dr.S. Pradhan, Mine Owner

This is the place where Dr.S. Pradhan handles things. We are located at Vim-501 in Sailashreevihar. That is over in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The pin code is 751021. Being a mine owner involves a lot of different tasks, and this is our home base for all that. It’s not a corporate headquarters in a glass tower. It’s a more personal space in a residential-style area. Sailashreevihar is a decent neighborhood. It’s mostly quiet, which is nice when we are trying to look over maps or paperwork. We have been here for a bit. The office itself is just a few rooms filled with shelves and documents. There’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We don't have a big staff, just a few people helping out with the management. You won't find any slick marketing posters on the walls here. It’s more about the actual work of mining and ownership. Sometimes visitors come by to discuss business, and we just sit in the main room and talk. The 751021 area of Odisha is where we feel at home. It’s easy to get to other parts of Bhubaneswar from here. We don't really have a set routine that's super strict. We just deal with whatever the mines need that day. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on things. We prefer to keep things simple and direct. That’s just how we operate around here. No big fuss or complicated systems.
