Central Tool Room & Training Centre - Bhubaneshwar

This place is located at B-36 in the Chandaka Industrial Area, right near the P.O. Kiit in Bhubaneshwar. It’s a bit of a mix here. We have the tool room side where we make actual parts and tools, and then there’s the training side where people come to learn the trade. It gets quite busy with students and workers all sharing the same space. You’ll see people bent over lathes or working with CNC machines throughout the day. It’s not a quiet environment by any means. There’s always the sound of metal being cut or someone explaining how a certain tool works. We’ve been a fixture in Chandaka for quite some time. The building itself is older, and you can tell it’s seen a lot of use. We don't bother with much decoration. The walls are mostly covered with diagrams and schedules. It’s a practical place for people who want to work with their hands or learn how to run industrial machinery. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a new batch of trainees arrives, but we manage to keep the production side moving. We aren't some high-end tech firm with bean bags and coffee bars. We have a canteen that serves basic tea and snacks. It’s about learning the craft and getting the tools made right. People come from all over the area to spend time here. It’s just a straightforward, hardworking spot in the city.
