We are based over at A 26 in Kalpana Square, right in the Bjb Nagar area of Bhubaneshwar. If you know the city, you know how busy Kalpana Square gets, especially with the buses and the market nearby. We are pretty close to the Badagada Hata, so on market days, the whole area smells like fresh vegetables and is crowded with people. Beaumonde Associates INDIA Pvt Ltd operates out of a space that feels pretty lived-in. There are stacks of folders on almost every flat surface and a whiteboard that is covered in notes no one has erased in months. The building itself is an older one, so the stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow. We spend a lot of time here, often staying late when a project is due, so the kettle is almost always hot. It’s not a silent office by any means. There is usually someone talking on the phone or the sound of the printer going off in the background. Finding a place to park your scooter can be a real headache some mornings, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don't have a big sign out front, so people sometimes walk past us the first time they visit. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where we just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the paperwork.
