We have our place set up on Katrang Road in Khopoli. It is a busy stretch of road, especially with all the vehicles moving through the Panvel taluka throughout the day. The shop is located quite close to the Bj Smark, which is the main landmark we tell people to look for. We handle various types of supplies here. It is a general sort of business. The mornings are usually our quietest time, so that is when we try to get the inventory sorted out and the shelves restocked. My uncle started this business quite a few years ago. He is usually in the small office at the back handling the paperwork while I take care of the people coming into the shop. The building is just a standard storefront with some extra space in the back for storage. During the monsoon, the rain can be very heavy here in Khopoli, so we have to be careful that the stock stays dry. We get a mix of local people from the neighborhood and folks who are just passing through on their way to the highway. We have a good relationship with the other shopkeepers on Katrang Road. We often help each other out with small things like making change or moving heavy items. It feels like a decent community to work in. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a reliable shop where people can get what they need without any real fuss.
