Our place, Fitech Equipment India Pvt Ltd, is over in Khopoli. We are situated near the post office in the Khalapur tehsil area. Raigad district is where we’ve set ourselves up, and it’s a pretty industrial kind of atmosphere around here. Being close to the post office is actually quite handy for us when we have to send out documents or pick things up. The weather gets pretty heavy during the monsoon months, and the hills around Khalapur look very different then. Our building is a solid, practical structure that fits in with the other warehouses and offices in this part of Khopoli. Inside, it’s mostly just the work floor and a small area for the staff to sit. We don’t have much in the way of fancy furniture. The trucks coming and going from the nearby industrial plots make a lot of noise, so it’s never really silent during the day. We start our shifts early to beat the heat when we can. Lunch breaks usually happen all at once, and then it’s back to the equipment. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don't do much sitting around. If you’re looking for us, you just look for the post office and we are right in that general vicinity. It’s a simple, hardworking spot. We just focus on getting the day's work finished and keeping the place running as it should without making any big fuss about it.
