Lakhara Steels

Lakhara Steels is situated right at Padam Sagar Chauraha in Khinwsar. Being at a crossroads like this means we see a lot of people passing through from different directions. We deal mostly in steel products for construction and local projects. The yard is an open space where we keep the larger beams and rods. It can get very hot out there under the sun, but that’s just part of the job. Khinwsar is a place where people know each other, so we often spend time chatting with our customers about their projects. We don't have a big corporate office. Our workspace is just a small room near the gate where we keep our records and a few chairs. It’s a very practical setup. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves most of the time. The ground is often covered in metal shavings and red dust. We started this business because we saw a need for steel in this part of town. Padam Sagar Chauraha is a good spot because everyone knows where it is. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just sell steel and try to be fair with everyone. Sometimes we are very busy and other times it’s quiet enough to sit and watch the traffic go by the Chauraha. It’s a steady life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
