Damasa Agro India Private Limited is our name. We work out of Trikolia village near Palia in the Kheri district. Arun Kumar Shah is the one who handles the main things from his place. It is a quiet village for the most part, except when it is harvest time. Then everything gets very busy. We are mostly into the agro side of things, dealing with what the land gives us. Kheri is known for being quite green and we have a lot of different things growing in the fields around here. The office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the roads to Trikolia get a bit rough during the monsoon, but we are used to it by now. We spend our days talking to the other farmers and seeing what is needed for the next season. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to late evening. Arun is usually there to answer questions or help with the documents. We are just local people trying to make the most of the land we have. It is not a complicated business. We just take it one day at a time and hope for a good harvest so everyone can keep their heads above water during the tough months.
