You can find us in Shapur village, which is part of the Kheralu area in Mehsana district. The business is run from the Jayantilal Hargovandas Raval premises. It’s a quiet place compared to the big cities like Ahmedabad. We call ourselves Desi Tappa because we wanted to keep things connected to our roots here in the village. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a flashy office or a bunch of suits. It’s mostly just family and local people from Shapur (Vad) working together. We do things at a different pace out here. There’s a lot of focus on traditional ways of doing things, whether it's food or other local products. We have been in this spot for a long time. Everyone in the village knows where the Raval house is. We don't use much technology besides what we absolutely need to get the job done. It's a lot of manual work and checking things by hand. Living and working in the same village means your reputation matters more than any advertisement. We try to be fair and do a decent job every day. The weather out here in Mehsana can be tough, but we are used to it. We just provide what the local market needs and keep things moving. It’s a steady life and we are content with how things are going so far. We just take it one day at a time here and keep the work moving.
