Shah Mangaldas Girdhardas

Our shop is right in Salun Bazar. Shah Mangaldas Girdhardas has been a part of the local market for quite some time. It’s a busy area, so there’s always noise and people moving around outside. We focus on the trade we've always done. It’s a family-run kind of thing, passed down and kept going through the years. We don't have a big website or any of those modern things. Most people just walk in because they know the name from their parents or neighbors. The space in the bazaar is a bit cramped, but we make it work. We stock what people need. Sometimes we run out of things, but we try to get them back in stock as quickly as the transport allows. It’s a simple setup. You come in, we talk about what you need, and we sort it out. We know most of our neighbors in the other stalls. It’s a tight community here. The floor is old and the shelves are heavy wood that's seen better days. It smells like the goods we sell. We aren't looking to change much because the old way works for us. We open up in the morning and close when the sun goes down or the market finally gets quiet. It’s steady work. We don't spend money on fancy signs or radio ads. The name on the front is enough for the folks around Salun Bazar to know who we are and what we do. It’s just how we operate.
