S. S Softy Corner

If you are ever in Dakor, you might see us. S. S Softy Corner is just a small spot where we sell ice cream and softies. It’s a very simple setup. We have the machine that makes the soft-serve and a few toppings. Dakor gets a lot of people visiting the temple, so we see a lot of different faces every day. When it’s hot outside, the line can get a bit long, and the machine has to work extra hard. I spend most of my day standing behind the counter, pulling the lever and filling up cones. It’s a sticky job sometimes. My hands are usually cold from the ice cream. I opened this because I wanted something straightforward to do. It’s not a big restaurant, just a corner where people can get a quick treat. I’ve lived in Dakor for a long time and I know most of the people who walk by. We don't have fancy flavors, just the ones people like most. The floor needs mopping a lot because kids tend to drop their ice cream. I don't have a big staff, maybe just one person to help when it’s really busy. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see the sign and come in. It’s a good way to spend the day, seeing people enjoy a cold cone in the heat. It’s nice to be part of the local scene here in town.
