Rudram Hospital

If you’re heading towards the KDCC Bank in Alina, you’ll probably pass right by us. Rudram Hospital is located near the Shree Meladi Maa TB Hospital and the Hanuman Mandir. It’s a bit of a landmark area because of the temple and the bank. I’ve been working here for a while, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. I get in, check the supplies, and see who’s waiting. The hospital isn't a giant skyscraper; it’s a more modest building that fits into the Alina landscape. Being near the Hanuman Mandir means we see a lot of people on their way to pray. The sound of the traffic and the occasional temple music fills the air during the day. Inside, we keep things as organized as we can. It’s a busy place, and there’s always a floor that needs mopping or a lightbulb that needs changing. I usually eat my lunch quickly because there’s always someone calling for help. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy brochures for us. We just provide the medical care that people in this part of town need. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when things get hectic in the afternoons. But we’ve become a fixture here near the bank, and everyone knows where to find us if they need a doctor. It’s just a plain, honest hospital doing its job for the neighborhood.
