Rakesh Travels is located in the Trimurti Complex, right across from the Old Bus Stand in Nadiad. Being opposite the bus stand means we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. It’s a very convenient spot for a travel business because we are right where the transport action is. The office is at F-17, and it’s a pretty straightforward place. We have a few desks and some chairs where people can sit while we look up bus or train timings for them. The complex itself is quite busy, and there’s always someone running around doing errands. We’ve been here in Kheda district for many years, so we’ve seen the town change and grow from our window. Our day-to-day life involves a lot of phone calls and checking various schedules. It gets quite noisy because of the buses revving their engines and the conductors shouting across the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we are in a good location and we treat people fairly. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when a whole family comes in to plan a trip, but we usually find enough plastic chairs for everyone. It’s a simple, local business. We like being part of the daily life here in Nadiad, watching the buses roll in and out while we do our work at our own pace.
