Malik & Malik

Malik & Malik is based out in Sanadra, which is in the Thasra Taluka of Kheda district here in Gujarat. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big cities but that suits us fine. We’ve been here for a long time now. The address is pretty straightforward, just the village and the district. We handle a bit of everything depending on what the season brings. It’s a family-run thing, as you can probably tell from the name. My father started it and now we are carrying it on. There is a lot of dust and heat during the summer months but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don't have any fancy office furniture. We mostly use wooden chairs and a big table where we can spread out all the papers. Most of our work involves the local community here in Kheda. People walk in and we talk about what they need. There is no corporate ladder here, just us trying to make sure the business stays afloat and our neighbors are taken care of. We use a lot of handwritten notes because they are faster than typing everything into a computer. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get around the village but we manage. It’s a simple life and the work is honest. We don't need much more than that to be satisfied at the end of the day.
