We operate Khodiyar Seeds Private Limited out of Vaghas village. Our address is at Vaghas, in the Balasinor area, which is part of the Virpur taluka. It’s a rural setting, which makes sense for a seed company. We are right there where the farming happens. The village is small and everyone knows each other. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a simple building that keeps the rain and sun off our heads. We spend a lot of time talking to the local people about their crops. It’s a different pace of life here compared to the big cities like Ahmedabad. Things move a bit slower, and we like it that way. We have been in Vaghas for years and it feels like home to all of us. The roads around Virpur can be a bit rough, especially when the monsoon rains come, but we manage to get around. We keep our seeds stored safely and spend our days managing the paperwork and the deliveries. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things by hand. There are no corporate boardrooms here, just a table and some chairs where we sit and drink chai while we plan the day. We are just local people working in the village we grew up in. It’s a simple life and a simple business for us and we just take it day by day.
