Gurukrupa Saw Mill

You can find Gurukrupa Saw Mill over in Phase-2 of the Gide Estate. If you follow the sound of the big saws, you will eventually run into us. The air around here is always full of sawdust, so we all wear masks when we are cutting. We have large logs stacked up outside waiting to be processed into planks. It’s a noisy place to work, but we are used to it. The estate is busy with all kinds of workshops, but we mostly stick to our own corner. We’ve got a couple of big machines that have been with us for a long time. They need a lot of oiling and maintenance, but they cut straight. We aren't a big corporation, just a local mill where people come when they need timber for building or furniture. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. Usually, the owner is right there on the floor helping with the loading. It’s heavy work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the day. We keep a small office in the corner to handle the bills, but most of the time it’s empty because we are out in the yard. It’s a straightforward business. We take the wood, we cut it, and we load it onto the trucks. That is all there is to it. We don't mind the mess much as long as the job is done by evening.
