Jhagadia Copper Limited

Our place for Jhagadia Copper Limited is out on Fatepura Road. It’s in the Navokuvo area of Uttarsanda, which is just on the edge of Nadiad. If you know the Gujarat roads, you know it can get a bit bumpy around here. The building isn’t very new, but it holds everything we need for the copper business. We spend most of our hours checking the weight of the metal and talking to the drivers. The sun is usually beating down on the roof, making it quite stuffy in the afternoons. We have a small fan that works most of the time. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved because copper isn't exactly light. It’s honest work, though. We stay busy with the local orders. Sometimes the trucks are late and we have to wait around drinking water and talking about the weather. People in Uttarsanda know where we are because of the constant clanking of the metal. It’s a loud business, but we are used to it by now. The paperwork sits in stacks on the old wooden tables. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, it’s a bit of a mess. That’s just how it goes when you’re working with your hands and moving materials all day. We’ve been here a while and the neighbors don’t seem to mind the noise too much. It is just the way we do things here and it works for everyone involved.
