I.B.Patel English School

I.B.Patel English School is found at 606, Akashdip Tower in Vallabh Vidyanagar. Being located in a tower building in the center of Anand makes us a bit different from other schools. You have to use the stairs or the elevator to reach our floor. This setup keeps the classrooms away from the direct noise of the busy streets below. When you look out the windows, you can see across the roofs of the town. Inside, the rooms are separated by walls that are not very thick, so the sound of a teacher in the next room is quite common. We have to be very organized with our space because we do not have a lot of extra room to spare. The students arrive with their heavy backpacks and settle into their spots for the day. Since it is an English school, a lot of our time is spent on reading and writing exercises. Anand is a very active town, and our location puts us right in the thick of things. We do not have a typical playground, but we make use of the space we have. The staff works out of a small office near the main entrance where we handle all the administrative tasks and parent visits. It is a very practical and straightforward setup for a school. People in the tower know us well. We have been here a long time now.
