Hotel Avkul

Our hotel is located right at Sri Sachkhand Sahib Palace, which is directly opposite the railway station in Vallabh Vidyanagar. Being so close to the station means we are always busy with people arriving on the late trains or leaving early in the morning. It’s not a fancy place with room service and a swimming pool. It’s just a basic hotel where people can find a clean room and a bed to sleep in. We get a lot of students and their parents because the university is close by. Also, people coming for business in Anand stay with us. The building is simple and we try our best to keep it in good shape. Sometimes the noise from the station can be heard in the lobby, but most of the rooms are quiet enough. My staff and I handle everything from the cleaning to the front desk. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure people have a place to stay that doesn't cost too much. We’ve been here for a good number of years now and we know the area well. If someone needs to know where to get a good meal or which bus to take, we can usually help them out. It’s a small, family-run type of business. We spend most of our time right here at the entrance, making sure everything is running okay for the guests who check in daily.
