Krishna Expotrs

You can find us right behind the railway station in Thasra. It’s a convenient spot because we can hear the trains coming and going all day. Krishna Expotrs has been operating from this location for quite some time. The building is an old one, but it does the job for what we need. We deal with exports, so there’s always a lot of packing and labeling going on inside. The floor is usually covered in bubble wrap and shipping tape. It’s a bit of a walk from the main part of town, but being near the tracks makes sense for what we do. We have a small crew here. We mostly just drink tea and talk about the day's shipments. There isn't a lot of structure; we just do what needs to be done. Some days are quiet when we’re waiting for goods, and other days are a total scramble to get everything onto the trucks before they leave. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a big social media presence. We just rely on our regular contacts and the people we've known for years. The Thasra station is a busy place, and it keeps us feeling connected to the rest of the country. We like the sound of the train whistles; it’s like a clock for us. We just keep working away at our spot behind the station until the work is finished.
