Xpo Logistics Pvt.Ltd is out in the Chakan Industrial Area at Plot No.258. It’s a big dusty area with factories everywhere. We are right near the Ecmc School, so in the mornings and afternoons, there are kids walking past the gate while the trucks are trying to turn in. It’s a bit of a chaotic spot. Our building is mostly a big warehouse space with some small offices on the side. We spend a lot of time checking lists and watching the loading docks. There is always a layer of red dust on everything because of the construction nearby. We don't have a fancy office with carpets. It’s mostly concrete floors and metal shelves. The sun beats down on the roof and makes it pretty warm inside. We have some fans, but they don't do much. People come and go all day, mostly drivers and warehouse staff. We just try to keep the boxes moving to where they need to go. It’s a lot of work and sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed. There isn't much to do for lunch around here except for some small stalls down the road. It’s an industrial life, nothing like those offices in the city center. We just focus on the trucks and the manifests and getting things out the door before the sun sets. It is a long day, but we are used to the rhythm of the place.
