Sai Chemicals

We are located at Potwade Wasti in Chakan, which is right in the heart of the Pune district. If you head toward the ST Bus Stand, you’re basically there. Chakan is a busy place these days with all the new factories, but our corner feels a bit more like the old days. We started Sai Chemicals because there was a need for local suppliers who wouldn't charge an arm and a leg. The office is just a small room with a desk that’s always covered in receipts and half-empty tea cups. Outside, we have a storage area where we keep the bulk of the chemicals. It gets quite dusty with the buses going by all the time, but that’s just how it is here. I usually spend my afternoons making calls to see when our next shipment is arriving. We aren't a big operation by any means. It’s mostly just family and a couple of helpers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. If someone needs something, they usually just call my mobile or drop by the gate. We keep it simple and try to be fair with everyone. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around, but it keeps us active.
