Hind Agro Industries

Hind Agro Industries is located right on Budhana Road in Khatauli. It is a busy stretch of road and we see a lot of tractors and heavy trucks passing by every single day, kicking up dust. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are always dusting off the desks and the equipment samples. We deal with agricultural equipment and parts, mostly the kind of stuff that farmers around here need for their fields during the planting or harvest seasons. The shop isn't very big, but we keep it packed with inventory so we don't run out of the basics. We usually open up early in the morning because that’s when people are heading out to the fields and need things. It can get pretty loud with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now and it just feels like part of the day. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning snacks. Most of the guys here have lived in Khatauli their whole lives and went to school nearby. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s not some big corporate setup, just a local business trying to stay busy and provide what’s needed. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon heat, so we just sit outside on the benches under the shade until it comes back on. Dealing with agro parts means our hands and clothes are usually a bit greasy or stained. We don't mind it much.
