Ranjit Rajbanshi & Co. is based out here in Kalgram. If you know the area around Khargram, then you know it’s a bit of a trek to get to the main parts of Kandi sometimes. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular building where we get our daily work done. Most of us here grew up nearby or live just a short walk away. The post office and the police station are the main landmarks we tell people when they are trying to find us for the first time. It gets pretty quiet in the afternoons, especially when the sun is really hitting the roof. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that. It's just a desk, some chairs, and the paperwork we deal with every day. Sometimes the mail takes a bit longer to reach us because of the location, but that is just how things go in this part of the district. We stay busy enough. There is always something to sort out or someone dropping by to ask a question. It's a simple setup. We don't really go in for those big corporate meetings. Mostly, we just sit down, have some tea, and get through the list of what needs doing before the day ends. That’s pretty much the story of how we run things here in Kalgram.
