Shri Traders

Our business, Shri Traders, is located right on the Mp Sh 31 highway. We are in the Gouridham Extension Colony area of Khargone. Since we are right on the state highway, we see a lot of trucks and cars passing by at high speeds, which can make it a bit noisy and dusty throughout the day. The sun in Khargone can be very harsh, so the building gets quite warm in the afternoons, and the ground outside is usually baked dry. We have a fairly large space to store the goods we trade, and most of our work involves loading and unloading items from the vehicles that pull over on the side of the road. It is a lot of manual work and we spend a good portion of our time checking the quality of what comes in. We do not have a lot of fancy decorations in the office; it is mostly just practical furniture and some calendars on the wall. We know most of the people who live in the colony behind us, and they often stop by just to say hello or have a quick chat. Running a trading business on the highway means we have to be ready whenever a delivery arrives, so we don't really have fixed break times. It is a simple, straightforward life and we just take things one day at a time as they come down the road.
