It’s a more residential-feeling setup than a standard office building, which we like. Barwaha is a smaller place, so everyone kind of knows everyone else's business. We do development and construction work around here. Our office is basically where we keep all the tools, maps, and project files. Dev Pratap Singh’s place has been the home for this company for a while. We aren't some big city developer with a glossy brochure. We are just local people working on local projects. A lot of our time is spent out at actual sites, so the office is often empty during the middle of the day. When we are there, it’s usually to catch up on the books or talk to someone about a new build. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We might be wearing dusty boots and drinking chai while we look over a contract. It’s just how we do things. We don't worry about looking corporate. We just want to make sure the walls are straight and the roofs don't leak on the projects we handle. It's honest work in a place we know well. We've been part of this community for a long time. Living and working in the same area means you can't really hide if a job isn't done right, so we just try to be honest with everyone who walks in and asks for help.
