You can find us at shop number eight on the road near the old hospital in Khargone. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re local. The shop is full of all kinds of things, from small boxes of nails to big cans of paint stacked up against the walls. There is always that specific smell of hardware and thinners in the air when you walk in. Most days, we are busy mixing colors or helping someone find a specific tool they need for a repair at home. It’s not a large place, and things can get a bit cluttered on the counter. We have some old shelves that have seen better days, but they hold everything just fine. People come in with questions about leaks or what kind of brush to use, and we just tell them what we know from seeing it all before. Sometimes we’re out back moving heavy boxes around, so someone has to yell to get our attention. The street outside is usually busy with people going toward the hospital, and it’s a bit of a dusty road. We keep a few chairs for people to sit while they wait for their paint to be mixed. It’s a simple life running a hardware shop in Khargone. We don’t do anything fancy, just keep the shelves stocked and help the neighbors when they have something to fix up. You can usually find one of us sitting by the door when it's quiet, just watching the traffic go by.
