Our place is located on Madhusudan Mukherjee Road, right near the police station in Khardah. It's a handy spot because everyone knows where the station is. We’ve been running Sehgal Industries here for quite some years. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise and people moving about. We aren't a massive corporation with a board of directors. It’s just us doing the manufacturing work every day. The machines can be loud, and the floor gets oily, but that’s how it goes in this line of work. We spend most of our time out on the floor making sure everything is running like it should. Sometimes a part breaks and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or anything; usually, you just walk in and find one of us working. We produce what we can and try to keep our regulars happy. Being near B.D. Sopan means we get a lot of local traffic. We aren't trying to change the world, just making parts and items that people need. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when we have a big order to get out the door. We eat our lunch right there at the workbench most days. It’s just a practical, local business where we work with our hands and try to make a decent living. We've seen a lot of changes on this road, but we're still here.
