J K Hardware Store

Plot No 2840 on Jain Street is where you will find us. We have been here in Mohali for quite some time now. The street is usually full of people going about their daily business and running errands. It is a standard hardware store, nothing too special to look at from the outside of the building. We have rows and rows of shelves filled with all sorts of bits and pieces for repairs. Some days it is hard to find exactly where everything is, but we usually know where we put things eventually. It is a bit cramped in here because we try to stock as much as possible for the customers. We see the same familiar faces every week, mostly local builders or people fixing things at their own homes. We do not have a big team of workers, just a few of us who know the inventory well. The store gets a bit dusty with all the bags of cement and white plaster we keep in the corner. We do not use any complicated computer systems for the stock. We just keep a manual log in a book and remember what is sitting in the back room. It is a bit old-fashioned but it seems to work for us. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the customers about their home projects. It is a steady life on Jain Street.
